This is a hotel value for money even though the breakfast has slightly less choice than the other hotels of similar type. the air con is functionality exceptionally well too. and the hotel is just a 2-minute-walk away from the train station. this will safe your trouble from dragging your luggage for a long distance.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone going to venice, mainly because of its location, but the service, the room, and the food were top quality too. the meal we had there on the 1st evening was the best we had all weekend and the breakfast was fine. its a good distance from san marco but it was so manic over there that we were glad to get back to the principe, which is in a lovely little enclave and so chilled out. but you still get to see the real venice. be sure to sit outside the antiche figure watching the gondolas come and go, while sipping a cocktail.
