Rooms

The bedrooms are large and in very good condition,the style being very traditional inkeeping with the rest of the pousada. The cream, marble bathrooms are also in very good condition.

Restaurant

The restaurant is a very large catherdral-style room.

Exterior

This pousada is an old,stone building dating back to the 13th century. It was originally a royal Palace and the home of king dinis,who founded Coimbra university,and his wife isabel.

Lobby

The lobby is large and regal with traditional dark wood and marble. To the rear of the lobby there is a large lounge and bar area with panoramic views.
