The lobby is open plan. Like the rooms it is on the 4th floor of the building which also houses a museum and another hostel amongst other things. It is reached by lift.
This is an austere building, typical of the architecture outside the historical centre of the city.
The rooms are basic, but nonetheless come as a pleasant surprise. They are clean and comfortable, with simple but good quality furnishings and fittings and fresh neutral colourschemes. The bathrooms are also clean and functional.
Breakfast is taken in the communal sitting room/dining room where guests are able to make themselves tea and cook whenever they like.
