Winter break in paris

We really enjoyed our stay in the opera deauville hotel, situated right beside the gare st. lazare, and only two minutes walk from the opera, galeries lafayette and five minurtes from montmartre. the staff were both friendly and helpful and most spoke english very well. we had a broken stay and therefore had two different rooms. i would recommend requesting a room at the back as the rue d'amsterdam is quite busy.
