Situated in the centre of Stavanger, Skansen Hotel is divided into an older guest house section with simple, comfortable rooms, and newer hotel rooms that are larger and more stylish. All guest rooms were renovated in 2007. Broremann Bar is a popular place to relax and take a drink for both locals and guests. Sightseeing boats are available and travel to Lysefjorden and the Pulpit Rock, and there are also several hiking routes close to the city.
The hotel is not expensive and is located in downtown Stavanger. A quick way to bus, train, boat and airport.
