Great location

I booked on line to stay at the fretheim hotel for two nights in flam. before my trip i was advised that the second night was not confirmed and moved to the flamsbrygga on the second night. both hotels are good with helpful friendly staff. i did some hiking in the area including to the waterfall.
some confusion with the fretheim on whether i had already paid but this was easily resolved by me but be careful as they were initially quite insistent that i had not yet paid. also the fretheim had a small amount of rubbish in the waste basket left by the former occupant of the room.
flam is quite small and has a variety of accommodation and eating spots. i would either stay at the flamsbrygga or one of the other alternatives should i return - value for money.

Great location

We stayed for 2 nights in this hotel, which is in a great location. our room was on the ground floor and unfortunately the room reminded us of holidays in pontins - very basic.

Fabulous flam

Great little town. nice , comfortable hotel in an outstanding setting . lots of atmosphere, great place to relax, unwind and enjoy the fantastic scenery.

rooms are not large and not .. the latest ... but are fine and the atmosphere more than compensates.
