Lobby
The lobby has been rebuilt in 2006 providing a much larger area with attractive and comfortable seating.
Exterior
A modern low rise concrete and glass building, a new wing has been built in 2007 adding an extra 92 new rooms. Large windows make the most of the great scenery.
Rooms
The hotel offers superbly furnished and beautifully decorated guest rooms which include its 84 newly upgraded deluxe rooms. Each room in the hotel comes with a thoughtful range of room amenities to make guests feel absolutely at home such as an en suite bathroom with a hairdryer; double or king-size beds, a direct dial telephone, a TV, a radio and Internet access. A minibar, fridge and tea and coffee making facilities provide added convenience, as does an ironing set. Individually regulated air conditioning is a standard feature in all accommodation.
Restaurant
Hilights is the main restaurant serving breakfast and dinner with great views to the nearby mountain ranges it has a seating capacity of 160 guests. Bailiez cafe and bar is located on ground floor with a street access as well as internal access. It is more informal and serve light meals and drinks.
Location
The Luxmore is located in the centre of town and within a short walk of all the shops, restaurants and amenities. Te Anau is the gateway to the "Fiordland" and so is a great place to stay and explore the famous world heritage sites of Milford Sound, Doutbful Sound and the Fiordland national park.
