Refurbished rooms and public areas in 2000. Very close to the centre (walking distance), it is in a quiet location, near a large park. In 2000 won New Zealand 'Hotel of the Year' award, in 2001 was a finalist.
Located on the edge of the city, near the University, and Auckland Domain a few minutes walk to Queen Street shopping. Hotel operates a complimentary shuttle to the city centre, theatres and waterfront. Commercial centre is located in this area.
