Nh amsterdam grand hotel krasnapolsky

I could not find any fault with this hotel at all. the staff were very helpful , the rooms were spotless and booking through hotelclick.com was so easy. i would definately stay there again and i will be using hotelclick.com for future bookings.

Great hotel

Krasnapolsky hotel is a great place to stay it is centrally located - we arrived early and if they have a room available you can check in immediately - we were given breakfast although we didn't book breakfast comes with buck's fizz !!! hotel lobby and bars are beautiful and the rooms are clean and comfortable - nothing is too much trouble and the staff are polite and helpful -

Break away in the heart of amsterdam

What a lovely hotel, nice ambience and a warm welcome. was given our room number and was shown a very nice room in the old block. it was a shame however that the toilet/bathroom doors had a good inch gap and did not close. we were quickly shown another room in the new block which unfortunately was not suitable but the problem was promptly sorted with a further new room. amazing breakfast - the buffet was superb -probably the best i have ever seen in my travels around the world.

in a prime location for shopping visiting sights etc.

would definately recommend and visit again.

The grand krasnapolsky hotel, amsterdam

I defy anyone to find one negative aspect of this lovely hotel. we were early for check-in, and tired after a terrible journey from copenhagen, so were very pleased to be upgraded to a superior room. at all times the front office staff were friendly, professional, efficient, helpful and courteous under pressure, and i emphatically include the concierge in that category; he had a delightful sense of humour.
the location could not be bettered; all major attractions were within walking distance, and if one lost one's bearings, virtually every tourist signpost pointed the way to dam square. also, there was an abundance of eating places in the immediate vicinity.
i had a small problem with the business services, which is why i was unable to rate it as highly as it probably deserves. i had been issued a 5 euro voucher, which barely got me connected (time-wise) and then my documents did not print. however, the reception staff were extremely helpful and did my printing for me. potentially, the business services are first-class, and it is obvious that great care has been taken to provide access to the latest technology. the wifi in my room worked perfectly.
the winter garden, where we had breakfast, was a joy; beautiful decor, modelled on the gracious palm court days of yesteryear. breakfast was plentiful and catered for every imaginable taste and culture, it was also very fresh. one observation here: the freshly-fried eggs are cooked on the opposite side of the buffet from where the other hot foods are located, so the bacon was always cold by the time i sat down to eat.

Superb location

We have stayed here twice a year for the last six years the staff are always helpful and courteous as long as you treat them as humans, remember they are people too!! we see too many expecting the earth, remember what is possible and what is not. the breakfast is a lovely room and has everything one could ask for. will book again soon.
