Lobby
Lobby is spacious with the reception desk to the left of the entrance, and shopping arcade leading down to the lake view bar. Floors are polished wood and decoration is restrained and reflects the locality. Plenty of room for group check in.
Exterior
The building was originally erected as a gift from the Soviet Union in 1961, so although it could be called an historic hotel, the outward appearance is that of an unprepossesing large modern block. The hotel was fully renovated in 1996.
Rooms
Treat yourself to a stay in one of the 183 individually decorated guestrooms, featuring private pools. Rooms have private balconies. Restaurant
For lunch or dinner, stop by Orchid Restaurant, a restaurant that specializes in international cuisine. Dining is also available at the coffee shop/cafe, and 24-hour room service is provided. Unwind at the end of the day with a drink at the bar/lounge or the poolside bar. Buffet breakfasts are available daily from 6:30 AM to 10:30 AM for a fee.

The hotel is located in midst Yangon, the capital of the golden land. In 38 acres of gardens on the north east shore of Inya lake. Midway between Mingaladon airport and the commercial centre ( about 15 minute drive to either outside of rush hour)
