The medium sized lobby is furnished in dark coloured marble flooring and located on the 2nd level. There are several sofas beside the reception area.

Exterior

As this is one of the first hotel in Kuala Lumpur, the exterior of the building looks dated and show some signs of tiredness.

Rooms

The hotel has 2 blocks. The superior rooms in the main block are medium in size whereas the deluxe rooms in the merdeka tower are fairly large in size. Both category of rooms have similar decor in solid rich colours. The dark colour furnishings make the room seem a little dim but creates a cosy feel. Bathrooms are in excellent condition as they have recently been renovated. Some bathrooms in the deluxe category have large windows with blinds and this gives a very refreshing feel as you get a lot of of natural light.

Restaurant

The hotel boasts to be the only htl to have a revolving restaurant on the 18th floor. Besides this, it also has a Japanese and a Chinese restaurant and of course the cafe which serves local cuisine.
