SHG Hotel Salute Palace, with its 46 bedrooms, faces onto the Fondamenta Ca' Balà and is 2 minutes from the splendid Basilica of the Madonna della Salute and 4 minutes from the Punta della Salute opposite Piazza San Marco, the most spectacular panoramic location in Venice. A few steps from the Hotel is the water bus stop. In 5 minutes it is possible to reach the Gallerie dell'Accademia, Piazza San Marco, the Teatro La Fenice and Ca' Rezzonico – the 18th century Venetian museum. Piazza San Marco can also be reached by gondola: the ferry that goes to the other side of the Grand Canal is very close to the Hotel and costs only 50 centimes! The Accademia di Belle Arti and the Peggy Guggenheim Collection can be reached on foot in 2/3 minutes. Not far away is the Fondamenta delle Zattere, a romantic walking route celebrated by the Russian writer Josif Brodskij in "La fondamenta degli incurabili".
