Lobby
The reception is a large, airy room enhanced by a hand-worked and painted, 19th-century terra cotta tile ceiling, brought to light during the long, painstaking restoration. The fireplace room and library: here, you can relax reading a newspaper, leafing through a good book, viewing a collection, playing a game of cards or simply doing nothing… The meeting room, which has three windows facing a small garden, can accomodate up to 60 persons. Standard audio/video facilities available.
Exterior
The Italian Garden: The villa’s lovely old plants: a large magnolia, high palms, enormous pines, in a frame of box-wood hedges. The Cypress-Lined Path: The path once marked the entrance to the villa. With the rediscovery of an old map, the cypress trees were lovingly replanted to create a lovely place to walk among the scent of rosemary hedges. The Palm Grove: The palms were scattered throughout the old garden and, after laborious transplanting, they now form a lovely path accented by a large, simple fountain. The swimming pool: A large, overflowing swimming pool with a sand coloured bottom that doesn't clash with the villa's architecture, surrounded by roses, rosemary and oleanders.
Rooms
Large, airy rooms with large beds, large bathrooms and large terraces … And, they are also all different, each with its own distinguishing style, worth discovering one at a time.
Restaurant
The room where grapes were treaded is now a dining room where you can enjoy simple, traditional cooking with homemade pasta and splendid legume and grain soups. The wine is the magnificent Montefalco Rosso or Sagrantino DOCG. Also known as the Winter Garden, it represents a vineyard with houses and birds and has a fabulous veranda on the Italian garden. A buffet breakfast with homemade sweets is served in this very relaxing and charming spot.
