Sport Facilities: 1500 square metre fresh water swimming pool, with a separate children’s area, tennis courts, beach volleyball courts, a multipurpose sports area, football, table tennis, water aerobics, step aerobics, canoeing and sailing. A nearby yacht basin can accommodate vessels up to 28 metres long. Our entertainment team provide a programme of events every day including: beach games, tournaments, sports, competitions, as well as evening entertainment in the amphitheatre of: dancing, shows and cabarets as well as a piano bar with dancing. Excursions: There are a host of interesting excursions to discover the culture and nature of this fascinating area. Nearby there are interesting archaeological sites such as the Nuraghe and “the tomb of the Giants” testimony to civilisations past. Increasingly recognised for its healing and relaxation properties thalassotherapy is a technique for harnessing the natural properties of sea water. At Sighientu Thalasso & Spa we have excellent facilities including a seawater pool at 32 degrees and treatments including application of warm sea algae, 4 hand massage, bio-marine walks in heated sea water pools with water jets to massage and invigorate every part of the body. The weekly Awellness Card or the Formula Life includes: 2 bio-marine walks, 1 jacuzzi, 1 sauna, 1 steam bath per stay; reduction of 10 % on beauty treatments. There is an extensive area with steam baths and sauna and the centre is divided into 4 areas: * Hydro marine : seawater treatments for drainage, relaxation and detoxification. * Beauty – treatments using marine products and specific massage techniques * In form – fitness area with the possibility to use the services of a personal trainer * Relax – yoga room and herbal tea area. Thalassotherapy is a highly effective form of treatment for the human body, since it combines the natural, highly-concentrated mineral elements of seaweed and the use of warm water to increase the penetration of these active ingredients through the skin. Warm water dilates pores and blood vessels, making the skin more permeable and therefore more receptive to the active ingredients. Seawater contains at least 60 different minerals and trace elements, most of which are essential to the human organism. These include iodine, iron, copper, zinc, manganese, strontium, molybdenum, boron and a vast range of vitamins, trace elements, minerals and plankton. Seawater and seaweed are used to oxygenate, tone, moisturize and revitalize the body and the skin. Our professionally trained team take care of children every day from 9:30 to 18:00 with specifically tailored programmes of play, entertainment, sports and other activities designed to help their development. Children can have lunch together with our staff and all their friends and every evening there is a baby dance. Once a week the children put on a show for their parents and other guests. In our experience this is always a memorable experience for both kids and parents (have your video-cameras at the ready!). Baby Club (ages 3- 6) and Mini Club (ages 6-12) special activity programmes designed for this particular age group include gymnastics, dance, introduction to sports, arts and crafts laboratory, expressive arts, social lunches and snacks and cooking. For our youngest guests changing beds and bottle-warmers available. At the end of the vacation children put together their own vacation magazine all becoming little journalists seeking out stories and interesting features to cover. Special Junior Club (ages 13 – 17) here children are involved in various sports, games, tournaments, theatre works and shows developed to allow older children to develop friendships and have a good time.

Exterior

The beach, which is fully equipped, is directly in front of the hotel, beach towel included on deposit. The swimming pool area, where the games and sporting activities take place is close to the beach and hotel. Special shuttle free from the hotel to the Poetto beaches to be reserved at the reception, from 01/06 to 30/09, 5 runs a day, from Monday to Friday, at fixed times (beach service to be paid).

We have 220 rooms, standard or sea view, all beautifully and immaculately furnished with luxurious textiles. Comforts include air conditioning, satellite TV, telephone, hairdryer, mini-bar and safe. The Formula Life room includes an accomodation in sea side view room.

The “Scirocco” Main restaurant with wide outdoor terraces with sea view. The “Libeccio” restaurant located within the attractive swimming pool and the sea, provides rich buffet of international and regional dishes, a large grill where to taste gorgeous local meat and fish; a reserved area for children is also available. A cocktail bar inside the hotel and a snack bar close to the swimming pool and the beach. (Some services would be available according to the weather conditions and occupancy of the Hotel.
