Look to your left as you step out into the street, and you will see the famous Baptistery of Saint John ahead of you, next to the Duomo with Brunelleschi’s Dome, and Giotto’s famous bell tower. Piazza Signoria is a five minute walk away, as is the Ponte Vecchio and the Uffizi art gallery, while a stroll around the Piazza del Duomo and a left turn take you to the Accademia Museum, with Michelangelo’s statue of David.
