Rooms
The old fort has been recently renovated in authentic Tuscan style, and used as accommodation, including six beautiful double rooms and seven spacious apartments on the property. The resort features a swimming pool with garden on the rooftop terrace, a garden set with barbecues, wooden tables and chairs where it's possible to enjoy a beautiful view and the restaurant "The Celliere" located within its walls. Located inside the old fort there are also the reception, the old aging cellars with oak barrels, the wine shop and the tasting room. Apartments: Price includes: consumption of electricity, water, gas, supply of bed linen, table and bath linens, final cleaning of the rooms but not of dishes, pots and pans (€ 50.00). The change of linen in the apartments is every 3 nights. Extra changes on request for bed linen € 5,00 per person and for toilet € 5.00 per person. Rooms: The price includes: breakfast, consumption of electricity, water, gas, supply of bed linen and toiletries, daily cleaning.
Restaurant
The Celliere restaurant open for dinner every day except Wednesday. Opening Hours 19:30. Tuscan dishes, specialties of Chianti, pasta and homemade bread.

FROM ROME: take the A1 motorway and follow the signs for Florence; before arriving in Florence take the EXIT VALDARNO / MONTEVARCHI; once leave the highway follow the signs to CAVRIGLIA - GAIOLE (road SS-408) past GAIOLE, after about 1 km, follow the signs to CASTAGNOLI taking the road on your left (SR-73b) after about 4 km after passing the village of Rietine, Castagnoli will find on the left; a few meters before the church turn left to enter the Rocca di Castagnoli, down the road you will find the Wine Shop and Reception. In Radda in Chianti follow the signs for Gaiole in Chianti; about 1 km from Gaiole in Chianti, turn right and follow the signs to Castagnoli; After about 4 km, after passing the village of Rietine, Castagnoli will find on your left; few meters before the church turn left to enter the Rocca di Castagnoli, down the road you will find the Wine Shop and Reception. From SIENA: Follow the signs for Arezzo - Perugia to merge onto E78 Siena - Bettolle; Exit at Monteaperti - Casetta. Follow the directions and then for Pianella Gaiole in Chianti; about 1 km from Gaiole in Chianti, turn right and follow the signs to Castagnoli; After about 4 km, after passing the village of Rietine, Castagnoli will find on your left; few meters before the church turn left to enter the Rocca di Castagnoli, down the road you will find the Wine Shop and Reception.
