Always renewed, at Excelsior Terme you find the features of a classic and elegant environment, up with the times, warmed by the familiarity and professionality of Tognon family's management.All thermal treatments are done in the hotel, thanks to three departments (one at each floor) plus one department at the ground floor for massages, inhalations and fitness.The hotel has three thermal swimming pools, one of which indoor (Vulcano) and two outdoor (Salus and Venus). Salus and Vulcano swimming pools are joined to let you enter the outdoor one during winter, too. Salus also features hydro-massage and blood circulation reactivating path.
Rooms
On three floors, reachable also with two lifts, the 111 rooms and the 9 junior suites will offer you their commodity and functionality to let you feel at ease. Facing south, north, west or the inner cortile, all rooms feature bath or shower, WC, direct phone, phon and satellitar TV-color. Type A rooms feature also air conditioning and balcony facing the Euganean Hills or the city of Abano. The rooms, furnished in a classic and functional style, are available as single, double or matrimonial with the possibility to add further beds for kids. Junior suites, a new concept, besides common endowment, will offer you more comfort thanks to bigger dimensions, separated WC / Toilet rooms, wide terrace and to an enriched furniture with comfortable armchairs.
Restaurant
Always one of our power points, the restaurant of the hotel will offer you the best of international, national and regional cooking, in masterly mix made by Chef Renato Masiero. Gala diners, with candle-light, with piano, and special events will be the best chance to experience the quality and fantasy of our cooks and to taste the dishes of our splendid buffets.
Location
Hotel Excelsior stands in Via Marzia Street, south from the city center, 200m away from the “Sacro Cuore” church. The hotel can praise an enviable position, being just a step away from city center and pedestrian zone but in a calm place, sheltered by a wide garden. Marzia Street leads directly to the most central and typical area of Abano Terme, rich of proposals: shops, bar, fountains, the Pietro d'Abano garden, the Teatro Congressi meeting center, the Montirone – the most ancient thermal source, now a park – will be the destinations of your walks, day or night. Heading the opposite direction, Marzia street leads out of Abano, where, five minutes away from the Hotel, you can already find the city of Montegrotto Terme or San Daniele's hill – dominated by a famous convent – which is the first representative of the wonderful natural environment that the Euganean Hills are. The hotel also puts bicycles at its guests disposal for free.
