Discover Chianciano Terme - Siena

Chianciano Terme is a town in the province of Siena. Chianciano Terme is one of the most famous spa resorts in Italy; in the 1915-1920 period there took place rapid development with the construction of an aqueduct, a bottling plant and with the renovation of the old settlement of holy water.

The Museo Civico Archeologico delle Acque: all materials found in the area are preserved in the Museo Civico Archeologico delle Acque, located in Simoneschi villa, at the beginning of the village. Created in 1997, this museum has grown alot in recent years thanks to the many excavations.
