Lobby
The lobby is of medium size, although adjacent to the reception there is a spacious seating area. The large reception sits opposite a small gift shop. The indoor pool, sauna and hot pot and located on the lower lobby level and entrance is included in the room rates.
Exterior
A low rise purpose-built building, the hotel is a mixture of grey, yellow and white painted brickwork.
Rooms
Standard rooms were completely renovated in the spring of 2011, and many now feature descriptions of some of the natural wonders that make Iceland so unique: water, geothermal energy, moss, lava, and glaciers. These rooms feature extra information and artwork inspired by this nature.
Restaurant
Sporting a fresh and spacious look, the in-house restaurant "SATT" is located on the first floor. SATT offers a variety of dishes made with fresh and organic ingredients, local flavours and warm, thoughtful service. The dining room is warm and inviting, with wood furniture that has been designed and produced in Iceland.
Location
This hotel is located just a five minute drive for the city centre (or approx 20 minute walk) and also next to the Reykjavik city airport, which services domestic flights.
