Building is cultural monument, was property of Serbian Orthodox church, in court is park and Serbian Orthodox church from 17th century. ||The church was built by Andreas Mayerhofer and has a beautiful Ikonostase by Károly Sterios. The church and the small park around it is somehow like a quiet, small island between huge houses in that area. ||The historical building of the Hungarian National Museum and famous central market are in a walking distance. We can highly recommend you the drive with the tram # 2. It takes you along the Pest side of the Danube offering you fantastic view of the most attractive buildings and bridges in Buda and Pest. The entire area is full with small cafes, restaurants and tourist and souvenir shops.
