The Gombás Kúria Mansion B&B, Europa Nostra prize-winner in 2010, was built at the end of the 18th century as a wine house and a summer residence, and it is one of the oldest sights of Balatonfüred, located in the hillside. The complex is situated at the foothills of the picturesque Mt. Thomas and boasts nice views over the surrounding mountains from its huge sun terrace. The garden provides barbecue facilities, while children can enjoy themselves at the small playground, or play table tennis and badminton. Tagore Promenade, alongside the shore of Lake Balaton in the centre of Balatonfüred, can be reached in 1.7 km. Balatonfüred Train Station is 1.9 km away, the city centre can be reached within 15 minutes on foot.
