The hotel was a good value stay, convenient for transport links and staffed by helpful people. breakfasts were excellent and varied in choice.

Pleasantly surprised

Having got a good rate for staying here i was expecting a pokey little room in a grubby hotel. we were pleasantly surprised as the hotel was very welcoming, clean and efficient. reception were very quick and we were given a large room with a decent size bathroom. all the usual facilities were provided and apart from a little bit of peeling wallpaper the room was very nice. breakfast the next day was excellent - the food was well cooked and with plenty of choice. on checking out they even offered to keep our bags for the day so we could sightsee! overall our stay was very good and we would definitely stay there again.

Harrington hall

Hotel was fantastic except for having no hot water and the room being way too hot even with the air con on full. staff were extremely helpful but any other stays i've had at this hotel were fantastic

Nh harrington hall

This is an excellent hotel. the staff are all very polite, helpful and friendly. the rooms are very clean and well appointed. the rooms are also very quiet. the food is excellent and the buffet breakfast has an excellent range of choice. room service is also available. my friends and i would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Nh harrington a gem.

We stayed at nh harrington hall as it was a convenient location for the chelsea flower show. the room was clean, comfortable and elegantly furnished and the bathroom facilities excellent. the evening meal was of a very high quality as was breakfast. we were impressed by the friendly attitude of reception and restaurant staff. we will definitely return.

Superb stay at harrington hall

We were attending a concert at the royal albert hall and wanted a convenient hotel to stay overnight. what a good choice - the price for a saturday night stay, including full breakfast was excellent and was the overall service experienced at the hotel itself. a large twin room - bright and clean. a large variety for breakfast - hot and cold buffet. highly recommended. will definitely stay again!!!

Really lovely hotel...recommended!!!

We had a really lovel time at this hotel, its really close to the tube station and the hotel itself we couldn't fault. breakfast was really great with loads of choice. we'd definatly stay here again!!

Fantastic stay!

Lovely hotel, fantastic decor and service..staff are very friendly and courteous,food is world class,loved having iron in the room already as well as handy toiletries (inc hairbrush, comb and shaving stick) i thoroughly enjoyed my stay there..

Good hotel in central location

Chose this hotel because of proximity to gloucester road tube station - only 2 minutes walk. price probably comparted favourably with other 4 star hotels in area. room was good - roomy and comfortable and no noise from neighbouring rooms. breakfast was excellent - plenty of choice. would certainly use this hotel again. only down side was the tv - the reception was terrible. we only wanted to watch the news but not possible!

Pleasant hotel in a good location

We had a most enjoyable stay at this hotel and the staff were particularly helpful. this was much appreciated as i was travelling with my mother who is 92. we would have liked a bit more in the way of traditioal comfort in the bar and restaurant areas but the modern furnishings probably suit younger business clients.

Better on the outside

While the location is fabulous, and the lobby and dining area very smart, our double room was shabby. virtually all the soft furnishings, including rug, headboard and bedding, were stained. along with faded and ugly decor, not very appealing. that being said, the bathroom was refurbished and excellent. i enjoyed the proximity to the tube and hyde park, and the breakfast buffet was very nice, included in the price. i'd love to go back if the rooms were a bit nicer. excellent check in and out.

I am familiar with the hotel since 1994. very good service and for a standard room excellent comfort. my room was 603 up in the roof and away from any noise (except heathrow traffic, and that depends on wind direction)so that it was difficult to know one was in a city! this room for preference in future please.

Top value

The hotel is an ideal location,about 3 minutes walk from gloucester road underground station.staff at reception were very polite,friendly and efficient,as were all the staff we met.the room was what you would expect for a 4 star london hotel with towels and toiletries(which included comb,hairbrush,toothpaste and toothbrush) changed every day.breakfast was more than adequate and covered all tastes- hot cooked,fresh fruit and juices,breads,muffins,cooked meats,cheeses etc.the only criticism was the tea is made up ready in pots and tends to be stewed,but its not a problem to ask for fresh tea. overall i would say it was good value for a 4 star hotel but the best part for me and my wife was the fact by booking 3 months in advance with hotelclick.com we got a special offer at £79 per night for a room with breakfast,the rate for booking at the hotel when we arrived was £210.unbeatable value.

Harrington hall

We were going to a show at the royal albert hall and therefore chose the harrington hall for its location and price. the web reviews were excellent and following our visit we would wholeheartedly concur with them. the hotel was very good value, the reception was courteous and helpful, the room was spacious and spotless with all services (tv, iron, ironing board, fridge, safe etc.) and a good selection of toiletries - even a toothbrush provided! the hotel is very well kept. the selection of buffet breakfast was exceptional. if you're travelling by tube then it's only 3 minutes walk from gloucester rd station! don't expect any spectacular views from the windows though, this is a large hotel in a backstreet! highly recommended though.

Stay of two days 12/02 & 13/02

2nd stay in the last 12 months got upgraded to a superier room without asking! swift check in.reception staff excellent.our room were available early.exceelent rate £52 per person per night inc breakfast.large choice here --buffet style hot food not always "fresh" rest of buffet excellent quiet hotel (we were on the first flor overlooking the millenium hotel and the road.(yet within 200 years yards of the tube booking with hotel click went smoothly would recommend the hotel to everyone (we went with our 15 year old daughter who had her own room (doulble our rate)
