Lobby
The medium sized reception area is located at the front of the hotel, with the stairs to the upper floors leading off from here. It is attractively furnished in a modern style.
Exterior
In spite of the fact that it is not an original medieval building, it has been built to blend in with its surroundings. A town house style building, with timber beams on the upper parts of the exterior, sloping roofs and flower boxes. The hotel stands back from the street behind an attractive little courtyard, which gives a very Grand initial impression.
Rooms
The standard bedroom is out of character with the traditional exterior, with its divan beds, modern furnishings, and fresh pale colour scheme. The rooms are all medium sized and in fair condition as are the bathrooms. Some rooms have interesting sloping ceilings.
Restaurant
The restaurant is located on the ground floor, but is not run by the hotel itself. It is fairly large and tastefully decorated with modern furnishings.
