The hotel invites guests to enjoy its wholesome Alpine atmosphere. It has been family-owned since 1934 and today is run by the 3rd and 4th generations. The property comprises 23 guest rooms, a hotel safe, lift access, a restaurant, conference facilities and a car park.
From Munich, take the A95 south to Garmisch-Partenkirchen. At Oberau (just before Garmisch) turn right towards Oberammergau. Take the first entrance to Oberammergau and then drive straight to the church tower. From Augsburg or Kempten, also take the first entrance and drive straight to the centre of town to the church tower, which can be seen from everywhere in the town.
All 23 rooms are 23-27 square meters in size and splendid views of the Alps Ammergauer. Most of them have a balcony. The doors are made from a tree in the mountains very special, called Zirbel. Most of our rooms are newly furnished in 2009 and all rooms have private facilities, such as bath / shower, toilet, hairdryer, TV, telephone, minibar and safe.
