Lobby
The small lobby area is part of a larger reception area giving through to the fine restaurant. This whole area is plush and redolent of a bygone era. There is a real feeling of elegance and luxury about the area.
Exterior
This quirky, old fashioned building has an imposing dark wooden facade with half-timbered features. It is set back from the main road and has an attractive little courtyard in the front.
Rooms
In contrast to the traditional style of the exterior and lobby area, the rooms are rather more contemporary, but all differ in size and layout. Nevertheless all are extremely well maintained and most comfortable.
Restaurant
The restaurant is on the lower level of the reception area and is decorated using much dark wood and stone. It really has quite a traditional, mediaeval feel to it, although there is an atmosphere of class and sophistication. The breakfast area is below the reception area just off the restaurant and does not benefit from much natural daylight. The decor is similar to that in the restaurant
