Lobby
The ground floor features a wood panelled library, reception , cafe and three large stone carved fireplaces. In the reception area an open galleried stair case leads to the bedrooms. There is a 24 hr reception service and the staff are friendly and offer an excellent service.
Exterior
The hotel is an old colonial house, originally a family home and then the residence of the French Cultural Centre. It has been painstakingly and lovingly restored to a hotel by the current owners.
Rooms
Each of the hotel's 24 bedrooms has a private bathroom and is individually decorated in keeping with the style of the house.
Restaurant
The Cafe is open daily from 7.00 am to 7.00pm and serves a delicious breakfast and a simple daily lunch menu. English cream teas are served in the afternoon. A small private garden with chairs, table and hammocks is also available and guests may eat in the garden.
