Exterior
The lodge consists of 107 guestrooms and is four star. There is ornamental woodsiding on the exterior of the building. The dining room and pool area are enhanced by windows for oceanviews. The property is located on 30 acres of oceanfront with a marina.
Rooms
All 107 rooms have a full bath, shower, cable TV, coffeemaker, iron and board. The rooms contain two doubles, two queens or one queen bed.
Restaurant
La Vista dining room is casual dining offering a wide variety of menu choices and of course, specializes in seafood. The dining room has three sides of glass and a wrap around deck. There is also lighter fare items available in the Fireside Lounge.

Just 45 minutes from Halifax and 2.5 hours from Yarmouth, the Oak Island Is close to Lunenburg, a World Unesco Heritage site and the artisan community of Mahone Bay.
