lobby is elegant , marbled and medium in size. More seating can be found in the conservatory to the rear of the entrance. Adequate room for a group check in.
Exterior
It is an inspired blend of khmer, art deco and French colonial architecture, the hotel has recently been restored by the raffles hotel group of Singapore in the spirit of a tropical palatial residence creating a historical grand hotel.
Rooms
Rooms are to be found in several wings, all faithful to the original design, with high ceilings as was the norm. Standard rooms are medium in size and either overlook the garden courtyard or the swimming pool. Bathroom design is also faithful to the original and are quaintly charming. Room decoration is a mixture of Cambodian and Art Deco-always simple rather than fussy. With the comforts enjoyed by the traveller of yesteryear com conveniences enjoyed by the modern traveller eg aircon, IDD telephon telephone, satellite TV, minibar and safe.
Restaurant
All dining outlets follow through on the theme of simple elegance found throughout the hotel. Breakfast is taken in the formal Cafe Monivong, also open for casual lunch and dinner. For upscale dining, restaurant offers Khmer haute cuisine. Le Phnom is a delicatessen for fresh pasteries. barbecues.
