Lovely new refurbished rooms, friendly and helpful staff, heated bathroom floors, comfy beds, delicious breakfast and a pretty decent price considering it's norway! we asked for a room away from the street noise and didn't hear a sound. we also let them know we were arriving about 12.30pm and our room was ready for check in. our room was a good size with a nice double bed, wardrobe, spacious bathroom and a comfy chair under the window. the staff were incredibly helpful with directions, advice on attractions and problems we had with the safe. we were pleasantly surprised with the high standard given it was a lot cheaper than some of the other hotels. the hotel is a short stroll (a few minutes) from the fish markets and then a few more minutes to bryggen wharf where we ate most days. there is also a supermarket nearby. we got the flybus to the fish markets from the airport and just made our way from there. great location!
