Exterior

You can go to the horse races or see a performance in the Casino-Kursaal.In the vicinity of Ostend you can explore the polders on foot or by bike. The neighbouring lovely town of Bruges is also highly recommended. It is even possible to explore the entire Belgian coast by tram in one day. And, of course, there are many cosy restaurants where you can enjoy the local specialities.

Thermae Palace has 159 comfortable rooms, 10 of which are junior suites. 80 rooms overlook the sea. All rooms are equipped with a spacious bathroom, colour television, mini bar, wireless internet (free of charge) and telephone with a direct outside line. The 10 roomy junior suites are equipped with all imaginable luxury and facilities.Besides the competitive room prices of Thermae Palace, the hotel also offers several appealing package deals. In 1933, the proper ‘Palais des Thermes’ came into existence with its interior in Art Deco style. It consisted of a Grand Hôtel, pool, thermae and a thermal institute. This building was partially erected against the Royal Galleries. The pool was changed with fresh sea water every day and acted as the municipal pool of the city of Ostend until 1976.
