Although this hotel looked a little on the tired side when we first arrived, we could not have been more pleased with it once inside.
everything about it was great, from the lovely reception area and friendly staff, to the large and well appointed bedroom and ensuite bathroom, which were spotless. the breakfast too was very good.
in addition, when we first booked the hotel it appeared that it was a little bit out of town and we thought we weren't going to see anything of liege, especially as we were only staying the one night, but budget was key so we opted to go along with it anyway. however, it turned out that the historic centre of liege was only a 10 minute walk away so that was another plus.
if we were to return to liege, we would definitely stay here again.
