The lobby is small and like the rest of the hotel, is fairly old fashioned. However, it has a wonderful stone floor, dark red carpets and leather sofas, and leads to the bar and restaurant. There is also a little alcove with more seating and a very welcome working fireplace.
This hotel has a fairly modern exterior, although the hotel was built at the turn of the 19th century.
Simple and functional, all the rooms have an ensuite bathroom, hair-dryer, cable television, individual safe, automatic wake-up alarm and telephone.
The restaurant is located on the ground floor and offers very good international cuisine. The chef is a member of the family who owns and manages the hotel.
