On Rennweg, very close to the famous Schloss Belvedere, one of Vienna's premier attractions.

We stayed in the lindner am belvedere for a freezing cold week in february 2011. it is a very comfortable hotel, with really friendly and helpful staff. the hotel seems new or newly refurbished, all to a very high standard. the room was excellent - an enormous bed, spotless bathroom, air-conditioning. the one negative is the cost of wireless connection - almost €40 for the week - in many hotels this is free, and should be free in a hotel of this standard and price.
we ate in the hotel restaurant - very good austrian cooking, with good local wine (grunner vintler is a very good white. the breakfast is also superb!
the location is excellent, within walking distance of the main attractions - the museum district, town centre etc no more than 15-20 minutes walk.
all in all, i recommend this hotel, especially if you can get a good deal on the price.

Friendly reception, lovley room with side view of belvedere, very clean, high quality materials and furnishings, very modern rooms, sauna/ steam/ gum top rate, huge breakfast. highly recommended

The hotel is new with great clean and modern furbished rooms,the bathroom is fantastic,and bed comfortable. our room had a view of the belvedere gardens. the staff at reception were friendly.a close walk to the belvedere castle, fantastic castle to visit especially with art exhibitions. the hotel has a tram outside that takes you to the centre of vienna.we travelled as a family and we all thought that it was and wonderful hotel in a good location. would recomend it to anyone.
