Exterior

Low rise resort, the architecture is a mix of tropical Kimberley house and grand Chinese pavilion. 26 acres of gardens grow pandanus palms beside gum trees, water lilies beside frangipani. And, it is dotted, inside and out, with a collection of artworks and antiquities that set an exotic, colonial tone to the entire resort.

Rooms

Rooms are large, with polished timber floors, airconditioning, ceiling fan, private verandah, complimentary in house movies. Tea/coffee makers, mini bar, hairdryer, iron & ironing board. Bathrooms with shower only. Rooms were refurbished early 2004, therefore in a very good condition.

Restaurant

There are 3 restaurants, all located on the ground floor - SUnset Bar & Cafe (serves woodfired pizzas for lunch & dinner), Kimberley grill and the Australian Boardwalk Cafe. RENOVATIONS: The resort commenced stage one of a 10 million dollar renovation program in November 03. The renovations, to be rolled out over the next 2 years, will include: Studio bathrooms, Food & Beverage outlets, pool areas.
