Pleasant stay

Housekeeping and service was very prompt thanks to "rashid" (guess not really his name). the interior sets you back to the renaissance period, makes you feel somehow special. though, the room needed some small repairs and it was unusually warm. breakfast was well above average but space is limited so you have to get there early or queue. location was central and by the lake . kind of annoying is the parking situation in como, charging you dearly - the hotel is taking 25€ per day.

First class

This was an excellent hotel and i would thoroughly recommend it. the staff are particularly efficient and helpful. the restaurant was intimate and the cuisine first rate. the location is centrally suited for ferry trips to other towns on the lake. we would definitely choose this hotel again.

Tanto fumo, poco arrosto.

Dopo aver viaggiato un po' e' facile capire quali sono le cose che fanno la differenza in un albergo. per me, dopo anni di albergo la differenza e' la colazione, la manutenzione della stanza, il rapporto qualita' prezzo. questo albergo, si presenta bene dall'esterno ma ha una colazione poverissima (la paragonerei a quella di catene express o basic formula) la mia stanza aveva il piatto della doccia rotto e l'acqua colava dalla cabina, le bottiglie dell'acqua nel frigobar erano aperte (sintomo che nessuno controlla il suo stato da tempo) sinceramente il prezzo e' ridicolmente esagerato rispetto al servizio offerto. inoltre 20 euro per il parcheggio sono veramente un furto! sarebbe un decente 3 stelle. punti a favore: la gentilezza della receptionist, la posizione centrale sul lungolago.
