The hotel features a very traditional theme both externally and internally, presented in the Majlis style, infused with traditional Arabian design throughout. The air-conditioned design hotel was built in 2012 and only has 14 rooms (10 deluxe rooms and 4 suites) spread over three floors, with the atrium from the third floor to the lobby dominated by a giant chandelier. Guests are welcomed in the lobby, which offers a 24-hour reception and a 24-hour check-out service, as well as a hotel safe, currency exchange facilities and lift access to the upper floors. Additional amenities include an auditorium, a children's playground and guests can enjoy a drink at the cafÃ© and dine in the restaurant. Business travellers can make use of the conference facilities and wireless Internet access is available. Guests can make use of the room and laundry services and there is a car park for those arriving by car.The hotel has a heated swimming pool with a poolside snack bar, sun loungers and a sauna.The hotel's restaurant, Al Mataam, has a capacity of up to 46 diners who can start their day with what is claimed to be the best continental breakfast in town - a fast, fresh and flavoursome assault on the taste buds. In the evening, the sedate, the cosy surroundings of burgundy and gold colour a restrained room offering a menu with a heavy Middle Eastern accent. Again, all fresh ingredients, purchased locally, provide a taste explosion. Lunch and dinner can be enjoyed à la carte.
