We chose this hotel because of its location, good size of room (not many in amsterdam centre at this price) and private facilities. it fully met all our needs. reception was friendly and vry helpful. the bar below was excellent for late drinks and breakfast, and generated no noise at a level that disturbed us. the only downside for some people was that the stairs were fairly steep and there was no lift. this was no problem for us and was made clear in publicity before we booked. there is a good tram service directly outside.
