My wife and i spent three lovely nights on our stay in porto santo island right at the end of october. this is a great relaxing seas and beach holiday location. the hotel is a good solid 3-4 star hotel. unfortunately during our stay they had closed most of the food restaurants. this they did without telling us at the time of booking which we found disappointing. having said that, we did get good consistent sensible food options but variety was lacking. our room was a one bedroom suite looking out to the pools. its was quiet and air conditioned. could have been better maintained and cleaned but was 3 start standard. the televisions were vintage and small; they need to be upgraded. hotel staff were approachable, helpful and friendly most of the time. the temperature and weather in general were fabulous. this is a good place to stay but be ware that at the end of october as the come to shut down they close most of their food restaurants.
