Center of palermo, but not what i expected

I booked a single room for 10 nights. room was small, not soundproof and very basic. bed was super small and uncomfortable. breakfast was always the same, no variety, mostly sweets, no healthy items. on my last day, i missed my swarovski earrings from the nightstand beside the bed. i wanted to put them on, but i could not find them nowhere in the room. they claimed nobody was in my room, but i had them the night before and put them on the table before going to bed. they said i could call the police. but i didn't. for what purpose? more aggravation?
