This Banff National Park lodge is accessible only by hiking or skiing, a 9 mile trail. The trail starts at the Red Creek Parking Lot off Trans Canada Highway.Guests at this remote lodge are provided with breakfast, lunch and dinner complete with freshly baked bread. After a meal guests can take day hikes in the surrounding wilderness. The Shadow Lake features a seasonal sauna for relaxing after a long day skiing.Shadow Lake Lodge cabins provide a cozy place to rest after a long hike. The cabins have a shared bathroom with separate shower facilities for men and women.The lodge also offers a library and gift shop. Guests at the Lodge Shadow Lake are provided with towels and eco-friendly soaps.
