The building itself has an incredible history as the former home of Corneliu Coposu. He is one of the most loved politicians and Romanian figures for ushering in the age of Democracy. This apartment building has no seismic risk rating, the lowest in the city. Please be aware most other Airbnb rentals in Bucharest, especially those in the center of the city, are in buildings with the highest, or “Urgenta 1”, risk rating. As with all of our spaces, this apartment has been fully renovated from scratch with the 2020 traveler in mind. The Neighborhood: This apartment sits on the edge of Old Town, a perfect location. Old Town is in the heart of Bucharest, and has the pulse of the city. The historic architecture, the old churches, the outdoor terraces and cafés and the romantic feel make the Old Town a most enticing area of the city. Being on the eastern edge, puts you just outside of the busyness of Old Town, and gives you easy walking access to taxis and trams, and near modern shopping centers and stores. Getting Around: There are many ways to get around the city. You have a very short walking distance to buses, trolleys, taxis, as well as bike and scooter sharing companies and of course, ride hailing services like Uber. Other Things to Note: All Guests are required to sign our HOLT Rental Agreement and complete a Superhog property insurance coverage portal with a valid ID, protecting both host and guests from any damage issues during your stay. The rental agreement includes general details of the reservation, terms and conditions, and the house rules that should be followed while being at the property. You can find the full rental agreement in the last photo of the property. If you are booking for commercial purposes, please notify us in advance with details of your use of the property as terms and pricing may vary. We may request a photo of a government issued ID for each guest listed on the reservation. Our professional cleaning service follows an enhanced cleaning protocol, which was developed with expert guidance with the help of CDC’s guidelines and our in-house experts. The cleaning service is also available for mid-stay cleanings. This is a pet friendly property. There is an additional 50Eur sanitation fee and also a 100Eur security deposit which is refundable after your check out when the cleaning company confirms everything is ok. Guests not disclosing they are bringing a pet but caught by building or our cleaning team will be subject to a 500Eur fee.
