Vallebuia is a stone villa in the centre of a small valley in the whereabouts of San Gimignano close to the ancient via Francigena made up of two buildings, the main part and the annexe a few metres near the pool. The surrounding landscape is featured with vineyards, woods, olive trees and cypress trees in an oasis of rustic peace and calm. Until some years ago, it used to be one of the classic country houses which were part of the landscape of the Tuscan countryside, then in 2012 it was restored and a beautiful and comfortable holiday villa for lovers of Tuscany who come here from all over the world was born. A group of friends or a large family are only spoilt for choice on how to spend their holiday. Apart from San Gimignano, which is enough to justify the destination, only a few kilometres away is Volterra, the Etruscan town par excellance, Monteriggioni with its strong walls and the cities of Florence and Siena. The restoration of the villa has preserved all the ancient characteristics such as the colours of the terracotta floors and the stone, the wooden beams, the vaulted ceilings, complete with all the modern amenities for a comfortable holiday. Even the furnishing is valuable with antiques and the perfectly-equipped kitchen is excellent. The villa is surrounded by a beautiful tree-lined space with furnished terraced areas, an illuminated infinity-edge swimming pool (14x7, 1.00- 2.00m deep)(01/05-30/09), with outdoor shower, sunbeds and umbrella. All the bedrooms have air conditioning and insect screens. Moreover, the villa has central heating and wi-fi Internet connection. 3 hours cleaning services a week (Wednesdays) is included in the price.
