Located on Andalucia's beautiful Costa de la Luz, the Asur Hotel Islantilla Suites & Spa is the perfect launch-pad for discovering this region of Spain or for a relaxing stint in attractive surroundings. Islantilla itself is chiefly a tourist resort, newly constructed for this purpose. Built along the Atlantic coastline, in the province of Huelva, the area is home to crystal white, sandy beaches and mountainous scenery of extraordinary natural beauty, which, if you're prepared to explore, provides good hiking and wildlife watching. Directly around the hotel's grounds, around Islantilla, there are plenty of leisure activities for those looking for a more active holiday. If your main prerogative on holiday is to explore the culture of the region, then you're advised to visit the towns of Isla Cristina and Ayamonte. You can visit the fishing ports to see the netsman and their boats coming in laden with fish and shellfish, stroll the local markets, or admire the Lepe landscape, a striking pastoral scene which contrasts the blue Atlantic with open, vivid fields of strawberries and oranges. The Asur Hotel Islantilla Suites and Spa is just 200 metres from Islantilla Beach.
