The residence is located in the quiet countryside of the Marche region, surrounded by an estate of 150 hectares. The building complex was created by restoring a famous property from the 18th century, whose history is closely linked to the Counts Marazzani which have built their noble residence on the ruins of a monastery. A chapel and outbuildings were added later to the farm, from which the present holiday house originates. During the renovation original and natural materials such as stone, earth, wood and iron were chosen in order to reflect the rural traditions and atmosphere of the past: thick walls, colored plaster, floors of terracotta tiles, antique doors and beams, high beds, electrical systems with ceramic switches (typical of the first electrification).
