San Teodoro is a beautiful small village, lying in a valley, just a 100m from the sea. Thanks to the local administration only small buildings in keeping with nature were built. There are 18 beaches, reachable by foot or by car. From San Teodoro you have breathtaking views on the island of Tavolara: a small rocky mountain protruding from the ocean up to the height of 600m, a wild beauty and part of a water protection area. To it s feet lies a long sandy beach called "Spalmatore di terra". Since 1994 in the months of july a big italian filmfestival takes place here. S. The enchanting profile of Tavolara island dominates the view of the seaside. All 18 beaches are within walking distance or short car distances. Looking north the closest beach is La Cinta: a broad, about 4 km long sandy beach with shallow waters and well equipped. La Foce lies in front of San Teodoro, a small beach surrounded by broom.
