At 650 metres above sea level summers are temeprate and the villa naturally cool in the evenings. 800 hectares of forests, crisscrossed with walking or mountain biking paths provide for a pristine natural backdrop. Badia a Coltibuono features also 8 double guest bedrooms all with ensuite bathroom: 3 of these are more spacious with views spanning the Valdarno valley, 4 rooms with views over the magnificent renaissance gardens and 1 with views on the countryard. Each room has it's own unique charm, in decor and style reflecting the elegance of the surroundings. At guests' disposal: Swimmingpool 6 x 15 meters, depth 1.20 to 1.80 meter. Restaurant Situated in the original but refurbished stables, and with elegant contemporary flair, the restaurant's atmosphere is warm and welcoming, while the surrounding garden enhances the overall mood with a touch of romance. During the hotter months meals are served outdoors under a bower of climbing roses and wisteria. Here the gourmet can savour the true aroma and flavour of the Chianti region.
