Casale Marciano is a characteristic rural Tuscan farmhouse, 320 sq. m., which has recently been refurbished. The house includes a swimming pool and 7 double bedrooms, each with en-suite bathroom, and can comfortably hold up to 14 people. The vast furnished, tidy external area makes it an ideal property for groups of friends or large families and for hosting events. External Area and Swimming Pool The farmhouse is surrounded by a large garden which boasts a vanishing edge swimming pool in stone, 16x8m with a depth of 2.5m, with an outdoor shower. The swimming pool also has a small underwater bench with massaging jets. The covered loggia, elegantly furnished, is ideal for outdoor meals. There are also various paved areas with wrought iron chairs and tables in each corner, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the view with a glass of wine. The house also includes a terrace with a panoramic view and a courtyard. The swimming pool and the outdoor areas are shared with the owners of the farmhouse and are therefore not used exclusively by the guests.Interior The ceilings have wood beams and all the tilings are cotto tiles. The ground floor has a large living room which includes a fireplace, a TV, a bar with a professional expresso machine, sofas and armchairs. Both the dining room and kitchen (complete with utensils) have access to the external area and the loggia. This floor also has a bathroom and a double bedroom with a four-poster bed and an ensuite bathroom with shower. On the first floor you can find a study, 2 double bedrooms, one of which has a four-poster bed and each with an ensuite bathroom with bathtub, 4 double bedrooms each with an ensuite bathroom with shower, 2 of which have a four-poster bed. Location The farmhouse is part of a large estate with vineyards and the soothing hills which are typical of the Chianti Classico area, about a half an hour drive away from Florence and Siena. Facilities Casale Marciano has a Wi-Fi connection, central heating on the ground floor and heated pavements on the upper floor. All the rooms have air conditioning, a safe, complimentary toiletries, a hairdryer and insect screens. The car park is inside the property. Services The price includes: bathroom and bedroom linen (with weekly change), 2 hours of outdoor cleaning per day, internet, water, gas and electricity consumptions, high chair and baby bed. Upon request and to be paid for on location are: tarpaulin rental for the pool, cookery courses, dinners, wine tours, transport, shopping, breakfast and laundry service.
