The hotel was ideally placed for exploring berlin, within walking distance of many attractions and as it is so close to the zoo station you can get anywhere in berlin within ease. the rooms are a little small with not much room for storing luggage etc. and the buffet breakfast suffered from being a little on the cool side, although there was plenty choice. overall a good choice of hotal right on the ku-dam for eating and drinking too.

Having stayed at the hotel excelsior berlin 3 times previously, we knew what to expext. this is an excellent hotel to stay at for a short or long city break, for its excellent location to the main shopping area and the am zoo staition links to all over the german capital. the hotel is a very clean and a joy to stay at, and has an excellent returant for guests and public, which serves lovely meals, at not to expensive prices. i would highly recommend staying here for your break.

We had a very pleasant stay at the excelsior berlin. the staff were very helpful, friendly and just nice. the room was comfortable, though on the 8th floor we could not open the window. we had a lovely dinner (cajun) in your restaurant and enjoyed the athmosphere and good service. we booked on the internet and the price was very good, better than some 3 star hotels in berlin. we will stay with you again should we make a further visit to your beautiful city. regards r maher nottingham

Brilliant location. very comfortable rooms. great to have tea and coffee making facilities. breakfast was excellent as was the room service menu. bathrooms maybe in need of modernisation. don't think air conditioning units worked.
