Review of villa victoria jan 09

Not only were we lucky with the weather, which was a delightful 14 degrees celcius, we were extremely happy to have selected such an excellent hotel for our stay. besides being clean and prettily decorated, the rooms and public areas were of a very good size. the complimentary espresso and pastries were a special touch, as was my birthday gift from the manager and the staff. breakfast was a buffet, served from a decent 6:45 til 10:30 and was plentiful. the staff were very polite and attentive - all of them, from the guys and girls on reception to the chambermaid. i would have no hesitation in recommending the villa victoria to friends and family.

July 2008 villa victoria

Very friendly, small, well-run hotel. located on a tree lined boulevard within a few minutes walk of railway station, seafront and main shopping area and tram in nice. attached private garden with range of exotic plants and sunbeds which were rarely occupied. buffet breakfast more than adequate for us but might disappoint those looking for a cooked english style one. we especially liked having breakfast outside on garden terrace. our room was slightly cramped but had an excellent bathroom. from floor plan, rooms seemed to vary in size and others seemed slightly larger.

Excellent hotel in nice

We stayed at the vills victoria for the second time recently. it is a first class hotel in a good position. it is stylishly furnished and the service is excellent. the garden area is attractive and breakfast outside is always an option that is offered.

Long weekend in may

Staff very friendly, rooms clean if a little small. we stayed in standard double and it was fine for a long weekend. breakfast ok but runs out in the last hour. location excellent and quiet.
