We stayed for 2 nights as a couple. the reception staff were efficient and helpful. the decor and theme is exceptional, really is 5 star. it's 30 minutes from the center so there is a free minibus service on offer that runs twice a day, afternoon and evening. the hotel offers a 800 baht shuttle to the center, however, the airport taxi driver that dropped us at the hotel gave us his number and he was our driver for the remainder of our trip in chiang mai . the hotel did have a power cut during the storm however this didn't bother us during our stay. it was my girlfriends birthday also and they surprised her with a birthday cake. all in all, great stay away from the city center.
